As a marketer, I have loads of experience planning, managing and optimizing demand-generation programs – mostly for software and IT services clients. I’d classify most of what I do as content-marketing, with in-bound and outbound components: email, social content, info-graphics, white papers, surveys, webcasts, web content and various forms of digital advertising.
I tend to view marketing through a prism of practicality – how will whatever program or activity we’re contemplating help grow the business.
