I work on a wide range of EU and JISC funded projects in the field of educational technology. Much of my research is around empowering students in their decision making process using technology. For many of these projects I write custom web based software and APIs typically deployed on a LAMP stack. I also deploy and maintain servers and services for these projects and am familiar with technologies such as Wordpress and the underlying technology that hosts them.
I also lecture visual programing, advance databases at third year BSc level and supervise final year and MSc project students. A selection of projects I have worked on can be found below:
