What would I do without a free bus pass and a senior railcard!
Started my working life as a journalist in the late 1950s. Those were great days - the Woodford Times and the Romford Recorder. Moved to a Sports Reporting Agency in Fleet Street and then went into the film and TV industry as a writer of newsreels and documentaries. Spent 35 years as a freelance director and producer of corporate films and TV documentaries before retiring 5 years ago.
Then I had time to study - and started by spending a year to get my City of London guide-lecturer badge. Became an Under-Grad - 55 years after leaving school and in 2010 got a 2:1 BA History degree at Birkbeck , University of London. No
