Davidson got his PhD in 2009 in Electrical Engineering and during his PhD he did a internship during two years (2007 and 2008) at the Software Research Lab in the University of Lousiana at Lafayette. During these years he specialized in malware analysis. As soon as Davidson entered at Inmetro in 2010 as a post-doc researcher, he started to research in software analysis and protection in embedded devices. He was the leader of the vulnerability assessment team of our group in Inmetro. Part of his job focused on conducting vulnerability assessment of embedded devices related to Legal Metrology and Conformity Assessment.
