I am a Consultant in Palliative Medicine at East & North Herts NHS Trust based at The Lister Hospital. I provide medical leadership for the multi-professional specialist palliative care advisory service. Before taking up my current position, I was Medical Director of Isabel Hospice in Hertfordshire, a voluntary sector hospice which provides the full range of in-patient, day hospice and community palliative care services for five years. Prior to this, I was a consultant at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. I have extensive experience of both clinical and strategic leadership. I have previously been the medical representative on the Hospice UK Care Support and Strategy Team and a member .
