Originally, from Kuala Lumpur, DJ Masterbase is well known around Asia countries especially Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Indonesia and plus his homeland in Malaysia for his soul-awakening music uplifting clubbers and critics alike. He broke into the club scene as a DJ in 1991 and won the champion titles for DJ Battle in 1992. DJ Masterbase has also won the single category in 1993 in Thailand for the Tag Team Category together with DJ Salat and DJ Salai. With production skills that matched his prowess behind the turntables, Asian remixes and original tracks earned him gigs across Asia.
