Ashley Baloyi aka AB Vyrus was born and bred in Soweto,South Africa.
He grew up under the guardianship of his late uncle Abel Baloyi who loved to listen to a variety of music, including House music.
AB Vyrus grew to enjoyed House music because anyone could easily relate and dance to it compared to other genres of music that his uncle played.
He listened to great tunes like Scott Grooves - "The Journey" and Eric Kupper 鈥� "Latin Grooves". Since then, he was driven by the love of House music, wishing that one day he could be a DJ and play such great tunes for people to dance to.
Lacking equipment at that time, he followed local DJs to their gigs and listened to some of the new tunes prod
