I am a teacher of children. I teach them many things during our time together. I teach children that reading will take them places that they can no longer visit or that have never existed. I teach children that being human is not the same thing as having humanity. I teach children that they can be more than they ever thought was possible. I teach children that life is only as fair as the hard work you put into it. I teach children that learning is a life long endeavor and as long as learning is taking place they are truly living.
