An honours graduate of the University of Waterloo, Denise began her media career at the Fairway Group of newspapers in Canada’s Technology Triangle in the distribution, classified and retail sales departments. Denise still considers local media to have the most impact and influence on reading and purchasing habits. She spent a number of years selling national advertising and publishing trade magazines in the IT, manufacturing, government, biotech and pharmaceutical industries as well as with a number of duty free, catering and travel magazines with distribution in Asia, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East.
