- 2. ABOUT OUR COMPANY Avalon Pearls is a vertically integrated jewelry company controlling all points of the product from sourcing through distribution. Our factory employ’s Americans GIA Pearl Graduates fluent in mandarin Chinese to work directly with the pearl farmers to get the highest quality pearls at the lowest possible prices. Our direct relationship with the farmers ensures our superior quality. Our factory in Zhejiang China has capabilities far beyond assembly, including casting, stamping, injection, epoxy, etc. We have over 100 full-time employees, and our factory is approved for various retailers including but not limited the retail list provided. Our factory has been audited and approved for production, quality, fire safety and human rights. In addition, we are an authorized import/export company that has passed several inspections from CT-PAT and also the Chinese government including -- Chinese Inspection and Quarranty (CIQ) department, and fire safety. Our mission is to orchestrate the process carefully so that only the highest quality pearl reaches the consumer. Our pride is knowing that our process is 100% controlled by us. - 3. A V A L O N P E A R L S . C O M In two short years, Avalon Pearls has grown tremendously. We specialize in items that have perceived value for big box retailers (all sold through wholesalers). We work closely with our customers to develop goods from a concept through production. With our vast experience working with US retailers, we keep in mind both the targeted retail price and also the latest trends that US consumers seek. Our American market expertise gives us a considerable advantage over other Chinese factories that are not familiar with US retailers and consumers. We can produce a broad range of goods, but our biggest categories would be castings and multi earrings. We also manufacture epoxy products and other handmade products. We have in-house design capabilities and also make complete packaged salesman samples ( this includes boxes and displays up to large PDQs). We find this particularly helpful as we like to build the whole story together as we think it's crucial to give products added value.
- 5. A V A L O N P E A R L S . C O M Our facility is broken down into four main production areas, office/showroom area, and warehouses. The production area consists of two casting rooms (2 machines in each room), they also have polishing, tumbling and vibrating machines in addition we also have model/mold makingThe assembly area is the largest area and we use this department for any assembly tasks we require. The epoxy area is used for any epoxy jobs that we need to do, also for any components we have to glue. We keep a drying oven here to make sure all epoxy dries quickly and uniformly. The packing are is used to pack all goods and is also used like a 100% inspection area as our employees are trained to look for defects or other quality issues.
