I am an enthusiastic nurse who has worked with neonates for 29 years and marvel everyday at their stamina and willpower. I enjoy working with sick and preterm Neonates, and NICU nurses to both reach their best potential. I continue to teach as an NRP instructor once a month, and have functioned as unit educator; creating and teaching a new nursing graduate orientation to NICU classes and program to improve retention of new graduates. I continue to precept new hires, function as a charge nurse as needed.
My goal is to complete my Masters and either teach, or become an NNP within the next 2-3 years.
