About
The Eminyeeto Program is a community-based initiative that builds youth capacity and strengthens social, financial, and emotional empowerment of girls and young women. Eminyeeto aims to prevent the sexual abuse and exploitation inflicted upon children and adolescents through cross-generational sex (CGS) in Uganda. We work to improve the well-being of youth in the Ruhiira community by building youth capacity and social, financial, and emotional empowerment of girls and young women. It is our aim that our program components become a sustainable feature in the Ruhiira community as well as a replicable model throughout various sub-Saharan African communities.
