With every career move so far I increased my job satisfaction. I managed diplomatic missions on 4 continents. Highlights so far were: the preparation of the FIFA World Cup in Korea and Japan, negotiating the release of Belgian hostages in the Niger Delta, Nigeria, crisis management during the strongest earthquake in Chile and holding the Belgian Chairmanship of the Council of Europe and most recently being thematic coordinator for the Information Society... I see my job as a possibility to develop myself and others. It confronts me with interesting challenges and different cultures. Presently, I think I have the best job in the world.
