I am a full-time freelance food journalist based in Vancouver and Vancouver Island. I produce a weekly column(4:35pm Wednesdays) called Food Matters for All Points West, the CBC Radio afternoon show based in Victoria. I also write a regular column for Gulf Islands Aqua, a Salt Spring Island-based lifestyle magazine. I teach cooking classes at Kilrenny Farm in Cowichan Bay and Food and Travel writing classes through UBC, in person in Vancouver and online anywhere! Oh, and I'm also the president of the Freelance Branch of the Canadian Media Guild.
