I teach in the Education Careers program and coordinate the paraeducator certification program at Kirkwood Community College.
2001-2003 I worked for the Lawrence, KS public schools as adaptation specialist, paraeducator training coordinator, and Mandt trainer and coordinator.
My work experience also includes teaching special education in Cedar Rapids and Marshalltown, IA.
I have coached a lot of volleyball, having been the head coach at both Kirkwood Community College and Mt. Mercy College (now university) in the 90s.
