My overall research objective is to understand aerosol sources and parameterize these for use in climate and air quality models. The work includes both man-made sources, natural sources, and anthropogenic permutations of natural sources. So far this includes sea spray aerosols, road traffic aerosols, tropical forest aerosols as well as the influence of turbulence and atmospheric mixing on aerosol nucleation.
