About
Currently working as a full-time lecturer in teacher education at Monash University - Clayton campus. Research interests are Brain Compatible Teaching and Learning in the disciplines of Second Languages and English as an Additional Language (EAL). Supervising over 6 Masters students and 4 PhD students, I recently completed my PhD, winning the national Michael Clyne Award for best PhD in the area of immigrant languages. My career trajectory has been across all sectors of education and also working in the Department of Education heading innovative programs, including Innovation and Excellence cluster Educator and State Coordinator of the Bilingual Education Project in 15 schools.
