I started out as a deck officer in the US Merchant Marine. Sailed on my Third Mate’s license with Chevron Shipping as well as the Master on purse-seine fishing vessels -- operated in waters from Hawaii to the west coast of Africa. Following my time with commercial shipping, enjoyed over 21 years of service in the US Coast Guard. Experiences ranged from Marine Safety/Investigations to Port Security, Law Enforcement, and tactical/theater/strategic intelligence analysis. My post-military career clients as a Booz Allen consultant have been US Space Command, US Northern Command, and Air Force Space Command.
