Fellowship in Ct surgery under Dr Richard Shemin in Boston University and did advanced Fellowship at Lahey Clinic for 6 months
Started the Cardiac Surgery Department at Lourdes Hospital, a catholic mission hospital, Cochin. Setting up patient care protocols , trained nurses in the various areas and started a PA Training program amongst other start up challenges. Over the period did over 1500 open heart procedures. Started Minimally invasive cardiac surgery program, the first in the state of Kerala.
