Presently working with Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science, Coimbatore as Associate Professor in Biotechnology.
I am guiding students to lead M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees. Under my research supervision, 2 Ph.D. and 7 M.Phil. scholars have received their Degrees. Presently, 4 Ph.D., scholars are working and they all have almost completed their research work.
I have completed Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences (Microbiology) from Bharathiar University (during November 2005), Coimbatore and my thesis (on Molecular typing of Aeromonas hydrophila isolated from marine fish) has been Highly Commended by the Foreign and Indian experts.
