When I reflect on the ways my faith affect my personal and professional life, I am reminded of the scriptures found in Matthew 5: 14-16 that conclude in saying 鈥� Let your let shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven .鈥� As a Christian, I have received the Light of God's Kingdom, but I believe that the Light of the Kingdom is not meant for just private edification. The Kindom of God is not something that is meant to be done quietly in the basement of my life and demonstrate only if people happen to inquire about it, but it is meant to be a light to the world--illuminating dark place
