I have been working on semantic concept detection systems since 2006. Our system was ranked 2nd in TRECVID 2007 HLF Task and got the silver medal in the Star Challenge - an international multimedia search engine contest in 2008. The system has demonstrated good performance in various standard benchmarks such as TRECVID, ImageCLEF, ImageNET, and MediaEval.
I am also working on most of other TRECVID tasks including semantic search, video summarization, multimedia event detection, and instance search. Our systems were ranked 1st in the instance search task of TRECVID 2010 and TRECVID 2011.
