Ee Sze began her career as a journalist with The Straits Times in the late 1980s, covering the tourism and aviation beat. After a brief foray into IT at the then-National Computer Board, she returned to journalism and was involved in the launch of CIO Asia. She also spearheaded the makeover of SME IT Guide (IDG Communications) and led it on a successful run as its editor. She went on to helm Computerworld Singapore from the early to mid-2000s, and had the benefit of working with a fantastic group of people to transform it into one of the leading IT trade publications of the time.
