3. This picture makes me think of a Saskatchewan summer night. We are
known as the "land of the living skies and we certainly live up to that. The fiery
coulors jump out of the picture. Since we live in such a rural community, when
we look up at night, there are clear a beautiful prairie sunsets. As a child, I would
sit out on our deck with my family and just watch the sun set. Seeing this
picture, I connected to it because it reminds me of one of the unique and
amazing sunsets Saskatchewan would have. I like the silhouettes of the trees
contrasting against the sky. Saskatchewan is a beautiful place that continues to
amaze me.
5. This picture shows a beautiful landscape of Canadian waters. The
reflective waters give this photo a mysteries and eerie tone to it. When I
look at this picture, it makes me think of a foggy/hazy sunset. I feel like the
colours in this landscape complement each other and work together well.
This photo is beautifully elegant. I connected to it because it make me feel a
little scared. The dark trees are interesting because you never know what is
lurking behind them. This picture is significant to me because it clearly
shows a classic scene in Canadian landscapes.
7. Toronto is one of Canadas major cities, and the landscape is very iconic. The
CN tower is higher than the buildings below, drawing the eye to this magnificent piece
of architecture. However, the most amazing aspect of this photo is the water below
the city line. The colours are mesmerizing as you get lost in the purple and bits of
green and yellows. I really liked the tone of this picture because it looks very sweet
and romantic. This photo is significant to me because I was in Toronto this summer
and it really is a beautiful place to be.
9. I picked this picture because the mountains are amazing. They are vivid and
seem to go on forever. The colours in the water mirror the ones pictured above
them, creating a reflection. I really like the bright blue sky and blue waters. This photo
reminds me of a happy day in the mountains. I am sure that when this photo was
taken, that person had a fantastic day. This photo is significant because it shows the
mountain range in Canada and the blue skies and lakes we have. Canada plays up our
rustic beauty and is famous for our natural landscapes.
11. I really liked this picture because it reminds me of home. I know that we
dont have a lot of bales around here, but its the prairie aspect that drew me to this
photograph. I love the colours in the sky, as this is yet another example of the amazing
Saskatchewan sunsets. The snow in this photo signifies our cold prairie winters. In my
opinion, this photo could represent the prairies of Saskatchewan. We have an amazing
landscape that is often taken for granted. I like that was can see for miles. When we
went to Ontario I kept thinking theres too much stuff in the way, I cant see
anything.
