Emily grew up in Bondo Sub-County, Siaya County- Nyanza. She completed her Primary and O’level certification in Memba (Rarieda Sub-County) and Liberty Sec. School respectively by the year 2003. she then studied at KCA- Kisumu Campus, Kenya from 2005 to 2008 where she took both Foundation Diploma and Diploma in Management of Information Systems (IMIS). She further joined Bsc. Computer Security and Forensics in 2012 at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOST).
