I joined the University Mohamed V, Morocco in 1979 and served as professor of physics. Currently, I am head of a research group in "Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie", we focus on thin Film and nanostructured solar cells, including the next generation of solar cells. I am serving as Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board for IRESEN, a Moroccan Solar Energy Research Institution "Institut de Recherche en Energie Solarie et Energies Nouvelles, IRESEN".
