Eric was born in Beijing, China; raised in Canada; and started his college life in the United States and the Netherlands. Although he started out doing double degrees in engineering electronic engineering and software engineering), after he received his first diploma, he decided to switch his study to industrial design. During his industrial design studies, Eric started his career as a designer in Hypnosescentrum Boxmeer, Philips Design, Fjord Design and Accenture, Blime design and Capgemini consulting group.
