About
Dr. Erin Bohensky studies geographic, political, cultural and cognitive dimensions of change and their implications for development pathways in Australia and internationally. Her current research focuses on knowledge integration and adaptation in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the Torres Strait; analysing public discourse around threats to the Great Barrier Reef; and resilience to extreme events. She is actively involved in the Resilience Alliance and has held editorial roles for Ecology and Society and Climate Risk Management. Her work has assisted governments in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Japan, and several African countries to understand and respond to change.
