I have relevant, rich, and successful school libraries’ experiences that I’ve lived during the 13 years I have worked in libraries. As a school librarian, I apply my background knowledge to daily strategies geared towards student achievement, strongly focus on information literacy skills, curricular alignment with teachers and promotion of reading. Recently I’ve been awarded the 2012 ‘Da Vinci Huis - IASL Fund for Brazil’, an award given by a Dutch organization, ‘Stichting Het Da Vinci Huis’ that recognizes young school librarians.
