I have relevant, rich, and successful school libraries鈥� experiences that I鈥檝e lived during the 13 years I have worked in libraries.
As a school librarian, I apply my background knowledge to daily strategies geared towards student achievement, strongly focus on information literacy skills, curricular alignment with teachers and promotion of reading. Recently I鈥檝e been awarded the 2012 鈥楧a Vinci Huis - IASL Fund for Brazil鈥�, an award given by a Dutch organization, 鈥楽tichting Het Da Vinci Huis鈥� that recognizes young school librarians.
