Interested in the benefits of parental engagement in children's education, and has been involved in her own 3 sons schools, eventually moving to state involvement as Executive Officer of the Qld Independent Schools Parents Council, and currently as a member of the national executive of the Australian Parents Council. A qualified counsellor (M. Couns.) working with children & adults, and still actively involved counselling and facilitating groups for parents and children in schools.
