Denton County Friends of the Family, Inc. was founded in 1980 by two area organizations. DCFOF was born with two employees, a shelter with room for nine and $10,000 in funding. Today we have grown exponentially with two outreach locations in Lewisville and Denton, a Thrift Store, and a newly renovated Shelter to accommodate the growing need for emergency shelter.
Denton County Friends of the Family believes that the social issues surrounding relationship violence and sexual assault must be addressed on all levels.
