Is a South African Deep House DJ born in Joburg, raised in Limpopo / Botlokwa and now based in Pretoria.
If you have heard of Funk DeepStar only in the past few years it doesn't mean he is a so called "newcomer". He has built a rich and solid profile through the years, starting back in the early 2000's, collecting vinyls at the age of 19. He got deeply into electronic deep house sounds with influences from Glen Lewis after first listening to his weekly mixers on Metro FM back in the 90's.
