Leon Gaitanakis got his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from the National Academy of Sport Vasil Levski, Sofia- Bulgaria in 1998. In 2013 he got his Master of Sport Administration (MSc) from University of Peloponnese, Sparta-Greece. In 2020 he got his Ph.D. in Sport Management, especially in politics and planning of sports tourism, from the University of the Peloponnese. He has a 20 years working experience in various coaching, scouting, teaching, lecturing and managerial positions in the sports industry. He has been working as a coach of volleyball at the many teams and countries, as a teacher of Physical Education at Sport Schools in secondary education.
