I graduated University of Wales College of Medicine in 1973 and worked in several specialties over 7 years in England and Wales before becoming Board Certified in Anesthesia and moving to BC, Canada in 1980. Moved to University of Iowa to specialize in Critical Care in 1983 and to Quad Cities in 1989 to specialize in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.
I have a lifelong interest in Health, Fitness and Preventive Medicine but the epidemic of lifestyle related diseases increasing so much these last 20 years prompted me to research more and more and I have now dedicated my life to researching writing and teaching Lifestyle Medicine and innovative aspects of nutrition and functional foods.
