Boa Vista and Maio Islands Tourism Development Corporation, SA, (SDTIBM) is a limited company that is fully publicly owned, which includes as partners the State and the Municipalities of Boa Vista and Maio, detaining 51%, 35% and 14% of the capital, respectively.
The purpose of the SDTIBM consists of the physical planning, management and administration of Special Tourism Areas (ZTE) on the Islands of Boa Vista and Maio, classified as Integrated Tourism Development Areas (ZDTI) and Tourism Protected and Reserve Areas (ZRPT), with a view to promoting and developing tourism.
