Having started a career as a professional interpreter/translator in three languages, I first worked in finance at a bank in Korea to which I was offered a job in project management in finance systems. During my seven-year tenure at the bank, serving as a member on various committees for learning, diversity and inclusion, communications and event management broadened my experiences which eventually led to my moving to the retail industry to pursue internal communications where I also had the opportunity to work in retail operations.
