Doctor in Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemestry (ICB/UFRJ), and BSc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences with emphasis in animal search (LTF/UFPB), and has extension in the Integrated Master on Pharmaceutical Sciences of University of Gent (UGENT), Belgium. Currently, he researcher at Biomedical Sciences Institution in the projects of neurophatic models with emphasis in Arthritis of UFRJ, He is tutor of students develop internship. He taught Pharmacology course to undergraduate . His main research areas are: Pharmacology of pain, inflammation, animal models, Arthritis, Neuropathic pain, development of drugs
