About
My current interests are twofold:
On the one hand I focus on innovative teaching practice and curriculum design in Engineering Education with an emphasis on competency based program and constructivist learning strategies.
On the other hand I am investigating the reduction of the environmental footprint of the two main industries of South Chile (Forestal and Aquiculture) by means of optimisation and automation of production processes and use of Non Conventional Renewable Energy.
Additionally I have a long lasting interest in non-linear dynamical systems and their modelling with applications in both engineering and life sciences.
