I participated in establishing medical informatics services in King Fahad Specialist Hospital - Dammam and currently leading the service. We were able to do a huge change in the organization and led multiple projects which improved the overall preformance of our clinicians and helped us to provide better care for our patients. the Healthcarel Informatics Administration is now responsible for 7+ different clinical systems including a full EMR. Our EMR adoption is currently at lower HIMSS EMRAM stages. We are aiming to be a HIMSS stage 6 hospital by 2018.
