I started my career as a Casino Credit Officer where my day-to-day role is to process heavy volumes of casino credit requests, on top of maintaining several other casino credit control processes. With less than 1 and a half years of experience, I was given an opportunity to explore a new compliance role created in my department.
I believe that my abilities to critically analyse current procedures, objectively provide solutions to problems, aided by my above average IT skills were the main reasons I was chosen to take up this new role. I had no predecessors or established practices to learn from so I had to quickly learn the ropes and perform up to the expectations of my bosses.
