I defended my PhD in 1994 on Dialogue-Based Machine Translation for the Monolingual Author (LIDIA project) in which I proposed and implemented an interactive disambiguation method further enhanced during a post-doctoral stay at ATR-ITL as an Associate Researcher. From 1997 to 2002, I worked in the field of speech-to-speech translation in the framework of the C-STAR 2 and Nespole! projects.
