I contribute to the Ethiopian Education system through teaching, advising, and Plant research. As an adviser I seek to foster professional development. My research focuses upon plant adaptation to changing environment; abiotic stress and plant phenotype;plant's root elasticity;and their interactive relationships and long-term human impacts on plant selection. My passion is driven because availability of quality seed and nutrients are the major reason for low yield in Ethiopia. By understanding crop plant's root development and nutrient transport, I like to improve plant selection under diversified climate conditions.
