Current Research Interests:
The main focus of my research is the investigation of the underlying mechanisms driving different kidney diseases, with a particular focus on drug-induced kidney damage and diabetic nephropathy.
My research has also focused on the identification of novel biomarkers of immunosupressant induced kidney injury in Kidney transplant patients, work which was conducted in conjunction with Beaumont hospital Renal Transplant Centre.
