About
I'm interested in studying evolutionary history by using bioinformatics. I have worked several different fields based on my interest and skills. My current research topics are Genetic Anthropology and Paleogenomics (ancient DNA) in (North) East Asia.
Bioinformatics, is still far away from "wet" biologists in Japan. Introducing a basic skill for bioinformatics, I have launched a study group of R programming in Kitasato University and I had organized a weekly workshop as an advisor for half a year.
Specialities: Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Evolutionary biology, Zoology (especially marine invertebrates), Paleogenomics, and Anthropology.
