Vakrokti theory is a theory of poetry that focuses on the language used in poetic expression. It sees poetic language as metaphorical and suggestive. There are six levels or types of vakrokti: 1) phonetic, 2) lexical, 3) grammatical, 4) sentimental, 5) compositional, 6) contextual. The types refer to deviations at the level of sounds, words, sentences, themes, structure, and overall work respectively. Vakrokti theory examines how meaning is generated through artistic uses of language beyond literal meanings. It provides a systematic framework for analyzing poetic language and expression.

4. Defination of vakroti theory
What is Vakrokti theory?
Vakrokti is a theory of poetry which perceives poetry essentially in
terms of the language of its expression. He took vakrokti concept/
(term) from Bhahamaha and made it broader than him. He states that
vakrokti is of six types. Vakrokti sees the poetic language as language
of metaphor and suggestive communication. Thus irony (Vakrokti) is the
predominant principle of genre science. Kuntak rightly said that,
爛む踽爲迦 爲爻 爲朽逗朽逗む爲 爲爻爲萎爲鉦萎爻 爲爲朽逗о 爲 爲逗爻爲萎爲朽 爲爲項爲逗鉦 爲爻.
