About
After 15 years of planning and design of institutional projects ranging from $1.5M to $1.5B, Hugh D. Lester entered Stevens Institute of Technology to pursue a doctorate in Sociotechnical Systems. As a Fellow at the Center for Complex Systems & Enterprises, he is working on a fully immersive human use model of Hoboken, New Jersey, which incorporates pedestrian and vehicular autonomous agents. He holds bachelors degrees in psychology and architecture and a masters in criminal justice. As a senior justice designer at AECOM, he most recently worked on the Long Beach Court Building, Wayne County Consolidated Detention and the Los Angeles County Mens Central Jail Replacement.
