In 1989, Koichiro started his career at Sumitomo Marine and Fire Insurance Co., Ltd (Currently, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd.). He mainly engaged in accounting and finance division and acquired a wide range of knowledge and experience in relation to those fields.
