At the heart of my interests is Design Thinking, applied to digital innovation, and the subject for my recent Master's degree. After training and practising as a product designer in the plastics industry, I have spent the past 35+ years working in leadership and consulting roles with high tech firms.
My first leadership role was at a plastics injection moulding company, based in East London (CSM Plastics, 1978-81), where I raised capital from the forerunner to 3i - ICFC. After an initial sales career in the plastics industry, selling pick-and-place robots, I moved into the IT industry in the early-1980s.
