I'm an Assistant Professor working on issues of Latina/o immigration and youth. A Houston transplant, I now live in New York City and miss good barbecue now and then. I love a good nite of dancing as well as a nite of poetry reading or a loud nite of debating politics. I adore my students and am blessed to be able to teach them. I love love, being around good, true people, and laughing until my tummy aches. I'm a little too mischievous, but always for good.
